Your personal programme to better health. Nutritional therapy helps improve your health, energy and enjoyment.

Symptoms of poor health can be vague and their causes hard to recognize. Often, the NHS has no obvious answer and sufferers are at the end of their tether. But the cause may be quite simple – poor diet and lifestyle. This is where my nutritional therapy steps in.

My nutritional therapy uses a scientific approach that works on eating habits and lifestyle to counter imbalances, and so improve your health. My therapy has proven successful with:

  • Autoimmune disorders such a rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease and lupus
  • Digestive disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), indigestion, acid reflux, and gallbladder problems
  • Women’s health problems, such as PMS, infertility, polycystic ovaries, and menopause
  • Skin disorders such as acne, psoriasis and ezcema
  • Stress-related issues like anxiety, depression and insomnia
  • Low immunity to colds and infections
  • General fatigue and low energy
  • Weight loss and management

Your rewards from a personal nutritional therapy programme

I use my training and experience to create a programme to answer your particular nutrition and lifestyle needs.
The typical outcome is:

  • Information about your health concerns
  • Your Strategy for Health, a plan to help you achieve your health goals.
  • Dietary recommendations to solve your particular symptoms
  • Supplement recommendations, if appropriate
  • Tips on healthy eating
  • Recipe suggestions for inspiration and encouragement

How we work together to develop your nutritional programme

The start is a free, no-obligation 15-minute telephone consultation - worth over £30 to discuss your symptoms and what you want to acheive in terms of your health goals. I will assess if nutritional therapy is the right choice for you and whether we can work together to acheive your health goals.

Appointment Options:

  • Face to Face meetings - Visit my clinic in Bowdon, Altrincham, Cheshire
  • Skype - if you are unable to come to my clinic in person we can arrange consultations via Skype or telephone.

Before your initial visit I ask you to complete a questionnaire and a 3-day diet & lifestyle diary, so that we can look at your current routine. I can then create your personal dietary and lifestyle plan.

Please print and sign two copies of the terms of engagement and bring them to the initial consultation.

The initial review and planning consultation: Before we meet, syou end me the Nutritional Therapy Questionnaire, and 3-day diet & lifestyle diary. I then start to prepare your individual nutritional therapy treatment plan before we meet.

The initial nutritional consultation will take 50 minutes. We discuss your family and personal medical history, your current symptoms and health concerns and any medication or supplements that you are currently taking.

I then review your diet and lifestyle diary with you, and discuss my recommendations based on your goals

Follow up nutritional consultations
These take 45 minutes. We review your success against the goals we set, and re-visit your dietary and lifestyle recommendations.

We then agree your next goal. We discuss any additional recommendations and the support you want for your next milestone.

How many consultations will you need?
The number of visits will vary from person to person, but I will see you several times for the best chance of long term success. Most people benefit from a minimum of 3 nutritional consultations.

Amanda is very knowledgeable and professional in her approach and I enjoy working with her; highly recommended!! Patricia
